Keshi Pearls Jewelry

Keshi Pearl Jewelry Collection – Unique, Radiant, Modern

Our keshi pearls are all about irregular beauty and lasting luster. Formed without a nucleus, they’re made of 100% nacre. This extra thick nacre gives them an unmatched glow, lightweight feel, and long-lasting glow.

Both freshwater and saltwater keshi pearls are now mostly intentionally cultured. (Yes, 99% of pearls on the market are cultured.) While saltwater keshi (like Tahitian) tend to be smoother and darker, freshwater keshi pearls offer more variety in shape, size, and color, from white, silver-blue, peach-gold, to champagne tones.

Though often confused with baroque pearls, keshi pearls are nucleus-free, giving them a more fluid, featherlight glow. Baroque pearls, on the other hand, usually contain a nucleus, come with a bigger size, and offer a bolder, heavier feel.

You’ll find shapes like silver flakes, petals, and abstract organic forms. Sizes typically range from 3–10mm, as their structure limits them from growing large. While not round or uniform, keshi pearls reflect a modern aesthetic. They’re perfect for those who value individuality and character over traditional symmetry.

Living near Zhuji – the world’s largest pearl hub, I visit the pearl farms often to discover newly cultured pearls. Their evolving colors and shapes always inspire me. Designing with them is a joy, and I hope to share that joy with you through every unique piece in this collection.
